Sand cat , Felis margarita scientific name , or dune cat is a cat genus species living in the deserts of Africa and Asia . Sand cat lives in arid lands , even to the dry African wildcat unbearable , like the Sahara , the Arabian Desert , the deserts of Iran and Pakistan .

Sand cats are listed as animals endangered by International Union for Conservation of Nature IUCN International . New sand cat family including mother cat Rotem Israel from Germany , announced Sela cat from Poland and four kittens .
